What exactly is Mindmymind?
Mindmymind is world's first app for true self-discovery. The app guides you on a journey to learn more about yourself and others based on your personality type and cognitive functions.
What's the story behind it?
We set out to build the app we wish we had ourselves when we we're younger and tried to navigate the world around us. Because we strongly believe many of the problems we face in life are indirectly related to not really understanding ourselves or others.
And so after years of personal struggles, therapy, and challenges, the time had finally come for us to bring it all together and offer people an easier way to really understand themselves and others better based on their personality and cognition. This eventually became Mindmymind.
How does Mindmymind work?
By combining both behavioural sciences, along with personality science and typology we are able to understand your cognitive functions. We have developed our own unique proprietary AI model to check your habitual ways of perceiving and processing information and the world around you. This allows us to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and profound insights.
What is the science behind it?
The origin of our model lies in close to 80 years of development in the field of psychology and behavioural sciences. WhenSwiss psychologist Carl Jung started to observe that all people seem to have an inherent preference to use a combination of cognitive functions to perceive and interpret the world around them he laid the foundation for what would eventually evolve in the science of typology and cognitive functions. Ever since, many developments have taken place in the field. We have worked for close to 5 years on perfecting our own model of recognising and understanding cognitive functions and how they shape the way we engage with the world and connect with both ourselves and others.
Who are the people involved?
The company was founded by Thom Momsen (co-founder of TooGoodToGo) and Abdalla Al-Ayrot (Stanford graduate). It's under leadership by CEO Jeff Aksengor (a tech veteran). There are also many talented people in the field of AI, engineering, growth, product, and design working with us. We're a semi remote-hybrid company with offices in Copenhagen and Lisbon.
